Through this Challenge, the Department seeks innovative action plans from career and technical education (CTE) programs, schools, workforce boards, and other eligible organizations to:
Increase students’ opportunities to develop skills and experiences that better prepare them for CHIPS-aligned careers;
Expand student recruitment, training, and placement strategies in these high-skill, high-wage in-demand careers; and
Support teachers in building out career and technical education (CTE) programs.
Participants will receive technical assistance, opportunities to learn from subject experts, access to peer networks, and be eligible to win cash prizes.
