Presented by the National Science Foundation funded National Center for Next Generation Manufacturing, this online professional development session is scheduled for four days, specifically on June 26, 27, 30, and July 1st. This workshop is designed to cater to a diverse audience of educators, including instructors from secondary education institutions, post-secondary colleges and universities, and even those engaged in adult education or vocational training. The primary aim of this professional development opportunity is to enable these educators to enhance and upskill their existing curriculum, ensuring that it remains relevant and effective in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Participants can explore innovative teaching methodologies, integrate cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, and align their curriculum with industry standards and best practices. The workshop will include interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions that will empower educators to update their course materials and inspire and engage their students more effectively. By the end of the session, attendees will leave with a wealth of resources, practical strategies, and a renewed enthusiasm for teaching, all essential for preparing the next generation of skilled professionals in the manufacturing sector. Professional & Interpersonal Skills ~ Emotional Intelligence


Over $400 in materials will be provided:

One-year online educational version of SolidWorks CAD Software

micro:bit kit ~ Electrical components kit

DISC and Emotional Quotient personal assessments

DISC and Emotional Quotient workbooks and reference materials


Participants will be eligible to receive up to $750 in stipends
