Partnerships & Programs
The Connecticut College of Technology (COT) provides career pathways for students to earn certificates, Associates and Bachelors degrees in Engineering and Technology disciplines. COT reduces barriers to education by providing a seamless articulation between the community colleges and the four-year partner universities. In addition, the COT uniquely integrates all of the aforementioned college and universities systems through offering multiple points of entry for completion of degrees.

ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE (ETC)
(2015 - Current)
Building upon the promising practices developed in the EC21 Program, ETC will contribute to the preparation of students for continuing their career pathway in manufacturing technology through credit certificates and degrees at partner community colleges and universities and for high-tech jobs in the advanced manufacturing workforce.
MECHANICAL & MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES (MET²)
(2014 - Current)
MET² integrates professional skills in industry-driven, problem-based projects, including entrepreneurial skills, leadership development, and innovation. It expands on the Life Support and Sustainable Living (LSSL) Program. This successful NSF-funded program received the ATE High Impact Technology Exchange Conference's Innovative Program Award at the 2012 HI-TEC Conference in Denver, Colorado.
EC21 – SUMMER TEACHERS’ DISSEMINATION WORKSHOP (2009 - Current)
The Engineering Challenge Teachers Workshop is designed for high school and college faculty. During the weeklong program, COT-NCNGM faculty present a curriculum on advanced technologies. The workshop gives participants hands-on project work that focuses on teamwork, engineering challenges, and exposure to cutting-edge engineering topics. Participants are encouraged to develop a curriculum for their classrooms based on their experiences in the workshop.
